Tele2 AB has extended its Hungarian coverage to the entire country after starting service in five new cities, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported. Tele2 now serves about 100,000 Hungarian customers after first offering service in Hungary in April 2004, according to the newspaper. Stockholm-based Tele2 provides fixed-line phone services in more European countries than any other company. In Hungary, it
challenges Deutsche Telekom AG's Magyar Telekom Rt, that was formerly in a monopolistic position, for long-distance and international calls.
