Tele2 complains over T-Com ad

Swedish-owned telecom Tele2 has turned to the Competition Office (GVH) and the Ombudsman of Telecom Consumers' Rights to complain about their rival T-Com Rt's (previously Matáv) Favorit package ad, the daily Népszava reported. According to Tele2, T-Com's ad may have misled clients when it promised free calls, neglecting to mention the monthly flat fee clients must pay. The ad also suggests that Tele2's charges per minute could not be compared with Favorit's zero-forint fees, as they were so favorable, Tele2 said.
