Computer network company Sun Microsystems had revenue in Hungary of about Ft 7.9 billion in its business year ended June 30, some 16% more than a year earlier, daily Magyar Hírlap reported. Gábor Hegedűs, managing director for the company's Hungarian unit said the Hungarian unit was the most profitable among Sun Microsystem's subsidiaries in the region, without disclosing any figures. About 98% of the Hungarian unit's revenue came from sales in Hungary. The rest came from sales in Slovenia, Bulgaria and Romania, where Sun Microsystems has offices but no subsidiaries.
