The Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) announced on Thursday the launch of new futures products on its derivatives market from September 19. The exchange will launch four new cross-currency futures products starting next Monday: CAD/JPY and NOK/JPY futures with settlement, and the same cross-currencies with foreign currency settlement. The exchange will also offer futures contracts for shares in property management company BIF and IT company Freesoft from Monday. The BSE said it was introducing the new products in response to market demand. The trading and settlement of the new instruments will be the same as that of the existing cross-currency and share futures.
