The new President of Hungary László Sólyom will take his office after a modest ceremony on Friday, Népszabadság reported. The ceremony will take place in Sándor palota, the president's residence in front of invited guests, such as government members, constitutional judges, chairpersons of the parliamentary parties, etc. and former president Árpád Göncz. Sólyom insisted on the closed ceremony with short speeches, because he already took oath on June 7 immediately after his election. Sólyom will start his work as soon as he took over his mandate from outgoing president Ferenc Mádl.
