Hungarian oil and gas company Mol Rt's Slovakian subsidiary Slovnaft is mulling the sale of 23 filling stations in Poland, daily Magyar Hírlap reported citing Polish business newspaper Puls Biznesu. "Slovnaft will review the market situation in Poland and readjust its sales strategy there," Spokeswoman Kristina Felova said. The Polish newspaper named PKN Orlen and Grupa Lotos as potential buyers for the assets. The news came as a surprise as Slovnaft Polska's former head Igor Adamiec outlined an expansion strategy in March 2004, with plans to boost the number of Slovnaft gas stations from 16 to 14 by the end of last year.
