A collective bargaining agreement and a wage tariff for the construction industry has been prepared by the National Association of Construction Companies (ÉVOSz) to cut the number of business associations that employ people illegally. The wage tariff, an appendix of the agreement, lays down the minimum amount an employer should pay to employees. Should the majority of companies and associations safeguarding workers' interests approve the agreement, the minister responsible may put it into force for the whole industry. The agreement is projected to come into effect from January 2006. (MH 10) P.O.
