Richter to enter market with four new products in 2005

Pharmaceutical company Richter Gedeon Rt will present four new medicines on the Hungarian market in 2005, the company announced. The drugs will serve patients of osteoporosis, gynecology and urology. Three of the generic products will be subsidized by the National Health Fund (OEP), while one will require a prescription, but will not be subsidized. The production price of the new drugs will be 30% less, than those already available in pharmacies. Richter Gedeon?s generic products, which provide the same healing effect in therapy as others drugs, have saved almost Ft 44 billion for OEP and Ft 4 billion for patients since their introduction in the early 1990s.
