The redundant employees of Szeged Kossuth Printing Press Kft will be demonstrating this afternoon to demand four months' overdue pay and fringe benefits totaling Ft 70 million-Ft 80 million, according to Ferenc Horváth, one of the organizers. The protest rally follows strikes in May and July, which failed to produce the desired effect; and now with the printing press closed down in September by owner Kossuth Printing Press Rt, the former workers fear they have even less hope of getting paid, he said. According to Managing Director Tibor Névery, Ft15 million was transferred to the company accounts yesterday to cover part of the overdue wages, and the rest will also be duly paid. (MH 12) P.P.
