Printing company Prime Rate opened a new Ft 1.2 billion digital printing center in Budapest on Wednesday, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported yesterday. The center's building alone cost Ft 850 million, and equipment -- Xerox's iGen3 -- accounted for the rest of the cost. Prime Rate aims to recoup the building's purchase price in 10-12 years, and the price of the printing equipment in 3-4 years, Prime Rate co-owner and managing director Péter Tomcsányi told Napi Gazdaság. Prime Rate paid for 40% of the investment with its own resources and 10% with state grants. Bank loans covered the rest. (Econews; Thurs Vg 13)
