Parmalat plants sold by liquidator

TM-Line Kft, the liquidator of bankrupt dairy maker Parmalat Hungaria Rt has sold two of the latter's former production plants, one in Tatabánya, western Hungary and the other in Cece, central Hungary, business newspaper Napi Gazdaság said. The former, which was originally quoted at Ft 320 million by Parmalat, has been taken over by Székesfehérvár-based Turul Invest 2000 Kft at an undisclosed price, while the Cece plant is said to have been bought by the local municipality for Ft 3 million. Parmalat has recently announced that it is also planning to put on the block its Székesfehérvár plant in April for Ft 8 billion.
