Pannonia plans Euro 50 mln shopping center

Pannonia Shopping Center, a project company set up by a group of Austrian investors, said yesterday it plans to build a Euro 50 million shopping center in Győr, the Austrian press agency APA said yesterday. The center, called the Dunapark, will open for the Easter holidays in 2007. It will employ 500 people. The center will include 43,000sqm of retail space, and another 12,000sqm of space for a cinema, disco and a casino. The center will also have a 2,000-space car park. Pannonia Shopping Center's co-owner Iván Holler said 60% of the center has already been leased out, and all of the space will be leased by the time the center opens.
