Pannonhalma tender called

The monastery of Pannonhalma, which has belonged to the UNESCO world heritage since 1996, is to declare the winner of the a public procurement tender today, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported. The tender was invited to renovate the square in front of the main entrance, the inner courtyard the open-air program site and the castle promenade. The abbey had won Ft345 million on the touristic tender of the regional development program and will add Ft 9 million from its own funds. Work can start in September and has to be finished by December 2006, Béla Vajdovith, the abbey's economic advisor said. The current bidders are Pannon Park Forest Kft, Renaiisance Rt and Mozaik-Classic Kft.
