OTP Bank Rt. has raised the capital in its wholly-owned unit Air-Invest, which owns and operates the bank's corporate jet, by Ft 188 million to Ft 191 million in two installments, OTP announced on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) on Thursday. OTP purchased a Falcon 900 EX business jet through Air-Invest in summer. The bank earlier said the aircraft was needed for visits to its foreign units and scouting trips for future acquisitions. Excess capacity, perhaps as much as one-third of the total, could be leased out to other businesses, the bank said. Additionally, OTP Travel, the bank's travel agency, would be allowed to use the jet for exclusive trips.
