ORTT asks public radio for information on medium wave broadcast

The National Radio and Television Board (ORTT) has asked public radio Magyar Rádió to provide it with information on the shutdown of its medium wave frequency and how this will impact its undertaking to provide minority programs and coverage of Parliament, members of ORTT who wished to remain anonymous told MTI on Friday. Magyar Rádió?s management has until November 1 to reply. Nine national minority self governments turned to ORTT earlier this week, on concerns that public radio minority broadcasts were being put in jeopardy.
