Nitrogénm?vek to ink Euro 17 million deal

Chemicals company Nitrogénm?vek Rt is set today to sign a Euro 17 million deal with Poland?s Pro-Chem to build a new fertilizer plant in Pét, western Hungary, business daily Világgazdaság reported. The agreement is part of the company?s long-term expansion strategy valued at a total Ft 20 billion and aimed to make Nitrogénm?vek into a regional market leader by 2007. The plant, which will manufacture 70%-80% of its products for the domestic market and use Pro-Chem?s technology, is scheduled for completion by late 2006 and due to go into operation early 2007, the company said.
