Nilfisk to relocate to Hungary

Danish professional cleaning equipment manufacturer Nilfisk-Advance A/S's plans to relocate a plant from Sweden to Hungary in March 2006 are on the right track, with the reconstruction of a 22,000-sqm production plant and 2,300 sqm of office space completed a few days ago in Szigetszentmiklós, south of Budapest. The company will be renting the facilities in the local industrial park from ÁTI Sziget Kft, which is redeveloping the premises of Communist-era Csepel Auto Factory in a brownfield project, ÁTI Managing Director Gábor Boér said. PEX Hungária Bt, another company based in the park, has recently added a two-hectare plot to its area with plans to expand its brake pad wear sensor business investing over Ft 1 billion, Boér added.
