The volume of construction industry grew by 7.9% in January 2005 compared to the data of January last year, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) reported. The volume of construction industry was 4.3% higher in January than the month before. The construction of structurally ready buildings, as the largest construction subcategory, grew by 8.7%. The volume of finished constructions declined, it was almost 40% less than a year earlier. 41.6% less contracts were signed in January than a year before.
