MOL Rt chief executive György Mosonyi said on Thursday that MOL was both determined and hopeful that it can boost its stake in Croatian INA, news portal Portfolio.hu reported. He added, that MOL had good relations with the Croatian government, which supports MOL in its efforts to obtain further stakes in the state-owned Croatian oil company. MOL would be able to finance the purchase through a syndicated loan it has agreed on recently, he said. The Hungarian oil and gas group acquired a 25% stake in INA for $505 million in 2003.
