MKB Bank issues ?50 mln bond

MKB Bank closed the sale of ?50 million worth of bonds in a private placement, the bank announced in capital market gazette Magyar Tőkepiac on Friday. The five-year floating rate bonds were sold to investment and savings funds. Lead manager for the issue was BayernLB. Following the private placement, the bonds were floated on the Luxembourg stock exchange. The bonds are a part of the ?1 billion bond issue program MKB announced a year ago. MKB said it would use the issues to finance lending.
