Metro publisher launches new magazine

The publisher of free newspaper Metro will launch a new, free entertainment magazine called Ananász on April 25, 2005. The magazine will first be printed in 100,000 copies and it will be a supplement to the newspaper. The newspaper can not focus on many topics that could be interesting for readers, therefore Ananász will inform readers about the world in a magazine-style. The target group of the magazine is readers of Metro newspaper as well as the age group 25-29, residents of Budapest who have finished secondary school at least and brand-conscious consumers.Ananász will be distributed by hand in the busiest hours of the day on major roads and squares of Budapest in the last week of the month. Besides that the magazine will be available in office buildings, universities, shopping centers, pedestrian zones, cafés and McDonald?s restaurants.
