Metro opens discount pump stations

Wholesale chain Metro has opened its first two discount fuel stations, Világgazdaság Online reported. The company, which has 13 stores in Hungary, positioned the stations next to its first Hungarian store in Budaörs and its unit in Miskolc, east Hungary. Metro card holders will be able to buy 95-octane and diesel fuel Ft 8-Ft 10 below market price, with discount equal to half that amount available to all other customers. Metro plans to open three more fuel stations this year.
