According to Napi Gazdaság, Gyógyszerfutár Kft a medicinal courier service founded by Imre Somody with a capital stock of Ft 3 million began operating yesterday after delays due to pharmacies unwilling to back up the enterprise fearing exclusion from the chamber of pharmacists. The company employs twelve couriers, has one call-center and one contracted pharmacy yet but plans to cover Budapest with four pharmacies and set up a national network by 2007. Costumers can order by phone then hand over receipts to couriers who send them electronically to the pharmacy. The standard service charge is Ft 1,450 while one has to pay Ft 2,300 for express delivery.
