Malév signs code-sharing agreement with JAL

Representatives of Malév and Japan Airlines (JAL) have signed a
code-sharing agreement which will take effect on October 30, Hungarian airline Malév announced on Monday. Under the agreement Malév's Frankfurt-Budapest flights will be assigned a JAL flight number. JAL will purchase seats on the flights based on its own needs. JAL flies to 23 cities in Europe, and it offers direct flights to the Czech Republic and Poland. Around 100,000 Japanese tourists visit Hungary every year.
