In an interview with daily Népszabadság Central Bank (MNB) president Zsigmond Járai said if the government does not change its tack the Euro will never be introduced in Hungary. Járai said that the domestic economy and policies cannot make use of the exceptionally favorable world economy situation for ever, the golden age will end. He denied having strong disagreements with the government regarding the report MNB made to the EU about the budget. Járai said Hungary certainly benefits from having and providing a real picture of the country. As to the 2006 budget, he said he does not agree with the 6.1%-of-GDP deficit. (Nb 12) K.H.
