Investors invited for Romanian environmental projects

Hungarian and foreign investors are being invited to establish a loans company to help Hungarian small and medium-sized companies do business in Romania, a gov't official said on Thursday. The company will finance mainly environmental protection and other industrial investment and technological development projects,
Economics Ministry undersecretary Tibor Szanyi told at a Hungarian-Romanian-Bavarian business conference. Romania plans to spend 29 bln on environmental protection by 2018, including 19 bln on water treatment and sewage developments and 4 bln on waste management, Romania's environmental ministry undersecretary Attila Korodi said.
