During the past four years, the number of internet users in the age group 14-69 have doubled, according to a research by TNS-NRC Interbus, Napi Gazdaság reported. While only 13% of them surfed the internet in 2001, the number has reached 27% during the first quarter of this year. Amongst those who use the internet at least once per week, the increase is threefold, and now stands at 19%. One third of those who use the internet regularly have already ordered services or purchased goods on the internet, the research concluded.
