Hungary's international reserves stood at Euro 14.569 billion at the end of September 2005, falling by Euro 167 mln from the end of August, according to preliminary figures published by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on Friday. The central bank's international reserves rose Euro 2.866 billion from the end of 2004 and were up 4.092 billion from the end of September 2004. In dollar terms, international reserves were worth USD 17.519 billion at the end of last month, increasing USD 475 million in September. Dollar-term reserves rose USD 1.556 billion in the first nine months of the year, and were up USD 4.612 billion compared in a year. (Econews)
