An anti-abortion group called Alfa Union led an anti-abortion demonstration in front of Budapest's health ministry yesterday, attracting 100-150 people for the extensively publicized event. The move was triggered by a recent decision by the professional college of obstetrics and gynecology, allowing use of abortion pills as an alternative to surgical intervention. Alfa's general secretary, Imre Teglasy, said they were protesting all abortions. (MTI)
