An Airbus aborted a take-off at Budapest's Ferihegy Airport yesterday, when an instrument signaled that an emergency exit was not secured, TV2 said yesterday. Although scrutiny of the exits revealed that it had been a false alarm, the plane's tires were so abused by the emergency braking that they had to be changed before the plane could go on its way.
