Hungary's international reserves stood at 14.451 billion at the end of October 2005, falling 119 million from the end of September, according to preliminary figures published by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on its website on Tuesday. The central bank's international reserves rose 2.748 billion from the end of 2004 and were up 3.052 billion from the end of September 2004.
In dollar terms, international reserves were worth $17.561 billion at the end of last month, increasing by a slight $42 million from the end of September.
The end of October reserves do not reflect Hungary's late October 500 million foreign bond issue, which was paid for on November 2.
