Eleven companies, most of them from the IT sector, have teamed up to establish the Hungarian Outsourcing Alliance, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported. The organization aims to become an umbrella organization for companies working in the service industries, ranging from finance, logistics through education, who wish to use outsourcing to help them focus more on their core operation. It will also work toward popularizing outsourcing among companies by highlighting its economic benefits. The global value of outsourcing today is estimated at USD 40 billion with Central-Eastern Europe accounting for about 4.5%. There are no figures available for the Hungarian market.
