The Hungarian Wine Marketing Kht is planning to launch a wine promotion campaign in the USA as a partner of French organizations. The Kht will soon announce a public procurement tender to choose the campaign agency, the tender documentation is available until November 23. A total of 3 million Euros will be spent on the promotion. The tender winner is to be announced in March 2006. The USA has doubled its wine import in the last ten years, however, only about 50,000 liters of Tokaji wine is exported to the USA annually. (NG 7) M.K.
