The Health Ministry will invite a tender worth Ft 8.75 billion in October to supply Hungary's hospitals with 300 anesthesia units, 400 ventilation units and 500 monitors, undersecretary at the ministry Mária Vojnik announced on Friday. The winner of the tender will lease the equipment to the ministry, selling it at a markdown to reflect depreciation when the lease is up. The ministry expects delivery of the equipment in the first half of 2006. The funds were made available for the purchase under a recent government decision.
