This week may see a decision regarding the new CEO of the Hungarian State Railways Rt (MÁV), daily Népszabadság reported. In the newspaper?s information, Economy and Transport Minister János Kóka has not yet reached a decision on the new management, however the two governing parties are getting close to reaching an agreement on the issue. What is certain is that current CEO Zoltán Mándoki, appointed by former Economy and Transport Minister István Csillag, will have to go; the most likely candidate to replace him is György Bobvos, currently president of the Beocin-based Serbian subsidiary of French construction material giant Lafarge. The position of general deputy CEO will probably be filled by Péter Hetényi, CEO of Siemens Rt until recently.
