The Hungarian unit of French insurer Groupama will start selling policies at three Cora hypermarkets, in Törökbálint and Budakalász, both outside of Budapest, and in Debrecen, southeast Hungary from October, Groupama CEO Francois Maresquier said yesterday. If sales go well, Groupama will start offering co-branded products with Cora, Maresquier said. During a three-month trial period, 15% of Groupama's comprehensive vehicle insurance policies and 12% of its home insurance policies were sold at the Törökbálint hypermarket. Cora's middle-class customers fit well into Groupama's target market, and the three stores attract 150,000 each week, Maresquier said.
