Ft 3 billion fuel storage facility completed

Hungary's Armed Forces opened a Ft 3 billion fuel storage facility at the Kecskemét Air Base in central Hungary yesterday, MTI-ECO reported. The facility, which was built with mostly NATO funds, brings Hungary's fuel storage capacity up to NATO requirements, Procurements and Security Acquisitions Office director Ferenc Bese said at the opening. The facility will be available to civilian companies as well through minor investments, defraying operating costs by Euro 17 million over thirty years.
