Ft 133.8 mln telecom charity

Hungarian telecom service providers collected a total Ft 133.8 million for the victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia- the IT and Telecommunications Ministry reported. The charity number 1749 received more than 668,000 calls. Clients of Invitel Telecommunication Rt, Matáv Rt, Monortel Rt, UPC Hungary Kft, Pannon GSM Telecommunication Rt, Vodafone Hungary Rt and T-Mobile Hungary Rt were invited to donate in the charity action. The Hungarian Red Cross will transfer the amount to people in need.
