The National Health Fund will announce a tender worth Ft 1 billion from March for general practitioners to test their patients concerning various diseases, national daily Népszabadság reported. Doctors can receive an average subsidy of Ft 450,000, if they agree to test their healthy patients over a period of seven months. The aim of the tests is to prevent tumors, heavy blood circulation problems, high blood pressure, heart attack, cerebral haemorrhage, diabetes, as well as other mental and locomotor diseases. It has been doctors' duty to test patients, but these data were not analysed so far.
