FMs of West Balkan region to meet V4 in Bp

The foreign ministers of the West Balkan region, the Visegrad 4, Austria and Slovenia will meet in Budapest next Tuesday to discuss preparations to EU integration and the help that West Balkan countries can get in regional partnership, the deputy state secretary said on Friday. Hungarian foreign minister Ferenc Somogyi will open the meeting and Prime Minister Ferenc Somogyi will deliver a speech, István Udvardi said. Hungary, which currently fulfills the presidency of the Visegrad 4 (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland), has proposed that countries of the regional partnership should act as coordinators in helping West Balkan states (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia-Montenegro) to prepare for EU membership.
