FM meets Serbian counterpart

Foreign Minister Ferenc Somogyi and Vuk Draskovic, his Serbia-Montenegro counterpart, voiced satisfaction over the development of bilateral ties, Foreign Affairs spokesman Viktor Polgár told the press. The Hungarian government firmly supports Serbia and Montenegro's efforts to join the European Union, Polgár quoted Somogyi as saying at his meeting with Draskovic
in New York late on Monday. Hungary appreciates the Serbian government's positive reactions following a recent bomb attack against a building owned by ethnic Hungarian leader József Kasza, Somogyi said during the meeting. Draskovic said that Serbia's authorities were determined to take effective action on this case motivated by ethnic hatred.
