Flextronics to change strategy
Friday, October 7, 2005, 01:00
According to Napi Gazdaság, Flextronics Hungary Kft is preparing to execute an extensive structural change in their output. The decision was made after two major worldwide mobile phone manufacturers had discontinued purchasing from the company. Now the company is to start manufacturing products with more staff-cost and shift the focus to complete value-added products. These will include equipment for GPS, nautical navigation, fishing radar and digital broadcasting. The change to quality products will also entail a more qualified workforce coming to the front in Zalaegerszeg. (NG 1,4) A.H.
