Fixed line number keeps dropping in July

The number of connected main lines dropped by more than 20,000 in July from June to 3,459,639, the National Communications Authority (NHH) said on Tuesday. There were 34.29 main lines per 100 people in July, down from 34.50 at the end of June and 35.57 in July 2004, the NHH added.
The ratio of households with connected main lines was 69% at the end of July, down 0.4 percentage points from June.
The ratio of ISDN main lines was 16.57%, down from 16.61% in June and 16.66% at the end of 2004.
