Fidesz MP, Tamás Koltai, urged the government to reveal the "secret" document concerning the sales of several parts and some billions of forints worth of voting rights of the Paks Atomic Plant to MVM Hungarian Power Companies Rt. MVM spokes person; Ágoston Tringer denies the existence of such a document. According to its general assembly press release in April, MVM was to set up a holding company since its goal is to act as a strategic investor in Hungary and on the CEE regional market. The establishment of the MVM holding company was purely due to efficiency reasons and will have nothing to do with Paks's activity in the future, András Batiz, government spokesman said.
