The government will soon raise the age limit of its apartment purchase subsidy program Fészekrakó. Currently only couples with both husband and wife under 30 years qualify for the program, but this will be raised to 35 years. Young people applying for Fészekrakó will receive a state guarantee, when they take out a bank loan to buy their first apartment. The original date of the change was October 1, but the new age limit is expected to be effective from next week. (Nv 5) M.K.
