Eybl International, the Austrian maker of automotive interior parts, said it has won a Euro 7 mln order from BMW for car seat upholstery, which will be manufactured at its Lenti plant in western Hungary, Napi Gazdaság reported. A similar contract, valued at Euro 8 mln, will at the same time increase production at the company's Romanian site in Deta. Eybl has units in six European companies, including Austria, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Spain and its workforce totals 4,000. There are four Eybl plants in Hungary: in Körmend, Jánosháza, Nagykanizsa and Lenti, all in western Hungary. Early this year the company set up a new logistics center at its Körmend site to service its Central European plants.
