ExxonMobil Hungary Commercial Kft, operator of Esso gas stations in Hungary, plans to add 10-15 new stations to the current 37 during the coming 3 years, the company's director responsible for gas stations Lajos Göndör told business daily Világgazdaság. ExxonMobil Hungary unveiled 9 new stations over the past 2 years, and the company wants to keep up the pace of expansion. Opening a gas station costs around USD 1 million for ExxonMobil Hungary, thus the 3-year plan could mean a total investment of USD 15 million, or Ft 3 billion. Currently only half of the company's gas stations are in Budapest, but the ratio will change in favor of the capital with the expansion plan.
