The European Commission will soon send a letter listing its doubts about E.On purchasing Mol?s gas assets, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported relying on Reuters-information. The letter is supposed to explain why the commission finds that the planned takeover would violate the Hungarian gas market competition. However, deadline for a final decision is not due before 29 November. As yet no information has been disclosed referring to a possible rejection of the deal. The 75% plus 1 share stake of Gas Transporting Rt had earlier made Hungarian Competition Office jittery about the sale.
