Equilor joins commodity exchange

As of Jan. 31, brokerage Equilor Investment Rt has become a member of the Budapest Commodity Exchange Rt (BÁT) and acquired trading rights there, CEO Éva Németh told BBJ Online. Equilor?s membership fee will be Ft 5 million. Registered with Ft 329 million in base capital, the company has been trading in the stocks section of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT), where it concluded 6000 transactions worth Ft 5.12 billion in total. In 2005, the brokerage is planning to expand its product and service portfolio significantly to offer a wide range of spot transactions, futures and options on the commodity market, indices, forex and fixed income products.
