Ten products of drug manufacturer Egis Rt have been included in the new Russian list of subsidized medications, which is currently in the drafting process and will be the first of its kind in Russia, Egis President László Marosffy said. The ten drugs, all of which are generic products, account for 40% of Egis? revenues in the Russian market. How the inclusion in the list will translate into sales figures is not yet known, Marosffy said. The Russian government is planning to spend $1.7 billion on drug subsidies this year. Egis?s Russian sales totaled $48.3 million last year.
